Craig Bellamy

Profile
One of the most feared strikers in the Barclays Premiership, Bellamy joined Liverpool from Blackburn Rovers in June 2006 after firing the north-west side into the UEFA Cup with 13 goals. Had previously moved to Rovers from Newcastle United after a public falling out with Graeme Souness precipitated a successful loan spell at Celtic. Possesses lightning pace, something the Reds lacked last term, and earned the 2002 PFA Young Player of the Year award following his move from Coventry. The Wales international developed an awesome partnership with Alan Shearer up front at St James' Park and will look to do the same with Dirk Kuyt, Peter Crouch and Robbie Fowler at Anfield.
