Arca made the switch from Wearside to Teesside in July 2006, joining Boro after six years with Sunderland. Signed for the Black Cats from Argentinos Juniors in 2000 and quickly established himself as a fans' favourite, dazzling Premier League defences with his skills and trickery. Comfortable either as a left-winger or at left wing-back.
