Togo striker penned a long-term deal in north London in January 2006, and scored on his debut the following month in the win at Birmingham City. Arrived at Arsenal with three years of French top-flight football under his belt at Monaco, as well as Champions League experience. Tall and good in the air, Adebayor inspired Togo to World Cup 2006 qualification - the first time they have reached the finals - after top-scoring in the African zone. Adebayor is currently Arsenals top scorer this season.
