A product of Ajax FC?s youth system Babel had his first taste of professional football just a few weeks after his 17th birthday. IN 5 years he has played and scored for all the Netherlands national Teams from U17 through to senior level. Babel transferred to Liverpool FC in July 2007 and has been terrorising defences with his pace and trickery ever since.
