Already with a wealth of experience, Barry has added consistency to his undoubted talent. Has comfortably slotted in to a more advanced position on the left of Villa's midfield. Handed the captaincy by Martin O'Neill at the start of the 2006/07 season. With 25 caps at senior international level Barry has been chosen to represent his country by no less then 5 different managers. Man of the Match in Capello?s first game in charge of the England squad.
