The 30 year old Senegalese international signed a three year contract with Wigan Athletic after joining from Wolverhampton for £3million in the summer of 2005. Camara began his career in France with Strasbourg, and arrived in the premiership with Wolves for £1.5million. Once the midlands club were relegated, the striker did not want to play below the top flight, and was sent on loan to Celtic for six months, before going on another loan spell with Southampton in 2005. He has scored 18 goals from 52 Premiership appearances during his two seasons at the JJB Stadium.
