The young Polish shot-stopper signed for Arsenal in 2007 and honed his skills in the Carling Cup as second keeper to Manuel Almunia. With regular appearances for Poland?s U21 team he was also reserve keeper for the 2006 World Cup squad and played in the qualifying campaign for Euro 2008. Fabianski had an impressive game in Arsenals recent 2-0 victory against Man United where he replaced the injured Almunia.

Fabianski becomes a Gunner
Arsenal have wrapped up the signing of Legia Warsaw goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski for an undisclosed fee on a long-term contract. The 22-year-old joins the Gunners to initially act as back-up to Jens Lehmann, but Arsene Wenger believes Fabianski has plenty of potential.
