After having worked with Scolari for the past 5 years in national football it is no surprise that he decided to follow his national coach to Chelsea in 2008. The majority of the midfielder?s achievements however have come from club football. Winner of the UEFA Champions League MVP in 2004, twice voted UEFA?s Best Midfielder, Portugal?s Footballer of The Year and Premier League Player of The Month in 2008 are just some of his awards. Deco has over 50 caps for the Portuguese national team.
