How your team earns points

DreamFC.com has a unique scoring system that has been developed to give each player in each position a great chance to earn points following a good display on the pitch. Our system also notices those players that aren't on form as well as those players hampered with injuries and suspension, and deducts points accordingly.

Here is how points can be won and lost on DreamFC.com:

Players Points

Full Match +3

If a player starts and ends the match without being replaced then they are eligible for this award and will be given 3 points. This includes extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Part Match +1

If a player started the match but was substituted at some stage, or if the player was the substitute that arrived on the pitch at some stage then they are eligible for this award and will be given 1 point. This includes extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Not Played -2

If a player misses a match due to bad form, injury, suspension or international duties then they will be deducted 2 points.

Good Game +3

We pick out a maximum of 6 players who have performed better than other on the day. In some cases there may only be 1 or 2 players awarded with the 'Good Game' points, but a maximum of 6 can be awarded these points. Players that are chosen will receive +3 points.

Man of the Match +5

Every game will have one 'Man of the Match'. This player isn't necessarily the player that was officially chosen on the match day. The player chosen cannot be awarded 'Good Game' points in addition to their 'Man of the Match' points. The player chosen will receive +5 points.

Clean Sheet (Points dependent on players' position)

If a team doesn't concede any goals in a match then they are awarded a clean sheet. Players eligible for clean sheet points are Goalkeepers, Defenders and Midfielders. Points are awarded as follows; Goalkeepers +5 points; Defenders +3 points and Midfielders +1 points. This does not include extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Conceded 3+ Goals (Points dependent on players' position)

If a team concedes 3 or more goals in a match then players must incur these deductions. Players eligible for these deductions are Goalkeepers, Defenders and Midfielders. Points are deducted as follows; Goalkeepers -5 points; Defenders -3 points and Midfielders -1 points. This does not include extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Yellow Card -1

If a player is awarded a yellow card during the match they will be deducted 1 point. This includes extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Red Card -5

If a player is given a red card during the match they will be deducted 5 points. This amount doesn't change whether it's a straight red card or two yellow cards. If the player receives two yellow cards they will only be deducted 5 points, not the additional 1 point for the yellow card. This includes extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Goal +5

If a player scores a goal they are awarded 5 points per goal. This does not include extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Hat Trick Bonus +10

If a player scored 3 or more goals they will be awarded an additional 10 points on top of the goal points. This does not include extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Player of the Month +10

Each month a player will be selected by our panel and be awarded the DreamFC.com Player of the Month award. For this achievement they will be awarded 10 points.

Young Player of the Month +10

Each month a player will be selected by our panel and be awarded the DreamFC.com Young Player of the Month award. For this achievement they will be awarded 10 points. It is possible for a young player to win the Player of the Month award as well, but only on very rare occasions.

Player of the Year Award +25

The player with the most points at the end of the season will be awarded an additional 25 points. If no.1 position is tied then all players in no.1 position will be awarded 25 points.

Assistant Managers Points

Team Wins Match +3

If the manager's team wins then you will be awarded 3 points. This does not include extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Team Draws Match +1

If the manager's team draws then you will be awarded 1 point. This does not include extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Team Loses Match -2

If the manager's team draws then you will be deducted 2 point. This does not include extra time and penalty shoot-outs.

Wins Premier League +25

If the manager's team wins the Premier League they will be awarded 25 points.

Wins Domestic Cup +20

If the manager's team wins the FA Cup or League Cup they will be awarded 20 points.

Wins European Cup +15

If the manager's team wins the Champions League or UEFA Cup they will be awarded 15 points.

Qualifies For Europe +5

If the manager's team qualifies for the Champions League or UEFA Cup they will be awarded 5 points.

Team Relegated -10

If the manager's team is relegated from the Premier League they will be deducted 10 points.

Sacked -10

If a manager is sacked at any stage during the season they will be deducted 10 points and be frozen out of the game.
